Manchester United assist king Bruno Fernandes has finished top of F365's Power Rankings ahead of long-time leader Declan Rice.

Inspired by the NBA’s weekly Power Rankings, in which all 30 teams are judged on current performance, overall strength, and a hint of potential rather than just the cold, hard standings, Football365 has brought the concept to the Premier League.

Over there, respected analysts and former players debate the finer details. Here on Football365, the task instead falls to one 30-year-old Scottish bloke who is unashamedly determined to find a way to put Bukayo Saka top every week.

This list blends a player’s overall ability with their present form, though what they’re delivering right now takes precedence. It’s the definitive (ish) ranking of the best 30 performers in the Premier League this season, sprinkled with a touch of footballing common sense rather than relying purely on spreadsheets and xG charts, though they do matter.

Updated after matchday 38, the final week of 2025/26.

Premier League Power Rankings: Top 30 players

30) Cole Palmer (Chelsea)

Scored against Sunderland on the final day and then produced the most ‘just-been-snubbed-by-your-international-manager’ celebration of all time.

29) Mohamed Salah (Liverpool)

Deserves some love, doesn’t he? Plus, his assist against Brentford on the final day was just delightful.

28) Jeremy Doku (Manchester City)

A much-improved season for the tricky Belgian.

27) Jarrod Bowen (West Ham)

Did everything to keep West Ham safe, but it was not enough.

26) Kobbie Mainoo (Manchester United)

What a comeback. Just what was Ruben Amorim thinking?

25) Bruno Guimaraes (Newcastle United)

Without their captain, Newcastle would have been in a relegation battle.

24) Marcos Senesi (Bournemouth)

One of the most sought-after free agents of the season, we presume. Terrific ball-playing centre-back.

23) Gianluigi Donnarumma (Manchester City)

A colossal goalkeeper and an astute signing.

22) Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)

Arsenal fans deserved better. Saka delivered better.

21) James Garner (Everton)

David Moyes admitted Everton’s shocking end to the season probably cost Garner a place in England’s World Cup squad. It’s difficult to disagree.

* Man City dominate Premier League XI of season
* Favourites to win PFA Player of the Year award
* Worst player at every Premier League club in 2025/26

20) Harry Wilson (Fulham)

Will be a wanted man this summer after an incredible 17-goal-involvement year.

19) Eli Junior Kroupi (Bournemouth)

An Arsenal legend without ever playing for them.

18) Dominik Szoboszlai (Liverpool)

Liverpool’s best player this season, yet not their highest player here.

17) William Saliba (Arsenal)

Saliba’s form in the second half of the season somehow managed to go under the radar. What a player.

16) Virgil van Dijk (Liverpool)

Did not miss a single minute in the Premier League this season. That is astounding for anyone, let alone a 34-year-old.

15) Rayan Cherki (Manchester City)

Makes football fun to watch. That alone, in an era full of robots, makes Cherki our favourite Premier League player.

14) Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa)

Scored seven goals in his final eight Premier League appearances of the season. Talk about bouncing back from being dropped by your national team manager.

13) Granit Xhaka (Sunderland)

Premier League signing of the season? Probably.

12) Nico O’Reilly (Manchester City)

Out of nowhere became a crucial part of Pep Guardiola’s Man City 2.0. Deserved Premier League Young Player of the Season winner.

11) Antoine Semenyo (Manchester City)

Scored the winner in the FA Cup final, though that is irrelevant here.

10) Morgan Gibbs-White (Nottingham Forest)

Turned up at the perfect time to steer Forest to safety. His terrific form was somehow not enough to earn a spot in England’s World Cup squad. Wild.

9) Igor Thiago (Brentford)

Broke the record for most goals scored by a Brazilian player in a Premier League season. It was 15. It’s now 22.

8) Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest)

Now worth £100million after Newcastle (essentially) sold him for £15m.

7) Marc Guehi (Manchester City)

Did not win the Premier League but won the FA Cup. A very strong first six months playing for one of the big boys.

6) David Raya (Arsenal)

A third Golden Glove in three years, is it? Recorded has a ridiculous 19 clean sheets in 37 games for the champions.

5) Gabriel Magalhaes (Arsenal)

Loves causing havoc from set-pieces. And a bit of flopping. And headbutting. Should have been sent off at Man City and who knows what would have happened to Arsenal in the run-in if he was.

4) Erling Haaland (Manchester City)

Finished with 27 league goals in 2025/26. Not bad for him, a career-defining season for others.

3) Casemiro (Manchester United)

The football has not left him, but he is leaving the Premier League. Unless Hull City fancy it.

2) Declan Rice (Arsenal)

A Premier League champion. Might care more about that than this ranking. Might care more about West Ham going down than this ranking. Might be the only person associated with Arsenal that wanted West Ham to stay up not because it meant Spurs would go down.

1) Bruno Fernandes (Manchester United)

Finished with 21 assists, setting the record for most in a single Premier League season. Not that Roy Keane cares.
